News Flash 5th May 2010 - Eyjafjallajökull Volcano - Claims Information
1) Provided you have booked insurance and your trip before 14th April 2010 (the day Eyjafjallajökull Volcano erupted), reasonable claims for additional costs may be considered. You must make every effort to make alternative arrangements and any amounts recoverable from your airline (e.g. the cost of the flight and accommodation) must be pursued. Also in order to comply with a policy condition you must have 'checked in' with the airline for your flight.
2) Due to this event our claims adjusters (in common with others) are experiencing a high volume of enquiries thus impacting on our normal service standards which is unfortunately resulting in delays and your patience would be appreciated.
