REPORTS TO: MD

ROLE SUMMARY

  • to provide a secretarial role to the MD
  • administrative support to the sales team
  • run and man all trade and public shows.

Hours: Part time; 3 or 4 days a week plus full time during shows; will involve some weekends

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • arranging appointment and in charge of MD diary
  • organise travel arrangements for MD and other staff, produce itineraries
  • manage MDs emails and correspondence
  • do all typing of emails, minutes of meetings and follow ups
  • supporting the team on marketing campaigns as required
  • run trade and public shows, and sponsorship events
  • manage FCA, GDPR and others compliance documentation/record keeping.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THE ROLE

  • a good standard of education with the ability to produce quality emails and letters
  • excellent communication skills, good customer service approach on the telephone, in writing and in person
  • proactive, can-do manner and willing to be adaptable
  • experience of dealing with administration
  • experience of working in a team environment
  • good IT skills
  • to be able to create orderly workflow
  • shorthand would be helpful
  • be a skier (not essential).

Job Title:  Direct Retail Sales Assistant

Reports to:  Sales and Marketing Manager

Role Summary:

  • provision of customer service/sales support to current and prospective customers relating to Retail Sales
  • administrative support to the team
  • assisting with call centre.

Hours:

  • six month contract, Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm, will involve some weekends.

Responsibilities:

  • answering telephone and dealing with current and prospective customer queries in a timely and effective manner
  • dealing with customer emails, in a timely and effective manner. Researching answers if required
  • chasing queries to ensure that they’re followed up on behalf of customers
  • sending documents by post as required. Posting ski-cards
  • involved with trade fairs as required
  • supporting the team on marketing campaigns as required
  • managing Multi Trip Renewals
  • any other customer service or administrative duties as required.

Do you have what it takes:

  • do you ski? in order to develop relationship with customers
  • ability to produce quality emails
  • good communication skills, good customer service on the telephone, in writing and in person
  • proactive, can-do manner, willing to be adaptable with regards to workload
  • experience of working in a team environment
  • good IT skills
