The MPI-sponsored event has 160 skiers in teams representing the top British and Alpine-based ski clubs. This year, Michael is skiing for the DHO Club.

Yesterday the skiers took part in the Grand Slalom and team parallel slalom races.

Today's programme in continuing good weather and excellent piste conditions includes a 'fast and scary' Super G followed by a fun race, rounded off later with a gala night and awards ceremony.

This year's championship is being hosted by Ski-Club Arlberg.
